Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Mechanic to join our team at CARAVEL GROUP INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and observing electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment, troubleshooting and repairing electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Welding and Assembly: Weld or braze components as required.
  • Coil Installation: Wind, assemble, and install various types of coils.
  • On-Site Servicing: Perform on-site servicing and repair of equipment.
  • Wiring and Component Repair: Test and repair or replace faulty wiring or components in electrical switchgear.
  • Performance Testing: Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a noisy and dusty environment, requiring physical stamina and manual dexterity. The ability to distinguish between colors is also essential.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.

  • Accuracy: The ability to work accurately and efficiently is essential.
  • Client Focus: Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach are required.
  • Team Player: The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
