Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service by warmly greeting guests, directing them to coat and personal item areas, and indicating wait times for tables.
  • Manage room flow and assign guests to suitable tables based on group size.
  • Support servers by ensuring prompt and courteous service, and verify that meals meet guest expectations.
  • Take reservations for special functions and general dining, and answer phone calls with general inquiries.
  • Assist in arranging the restaurant for special functions.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming entrance to the restaurant and contribute to general housekeeping.
  • Clean and stock the dining area to provide a pleasant environment for guests.
  • Perform related duties as requested by Managers and Team Leads.
  • Work flexible shifts with varying hours, primarily part-time between 24 to 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • Be outgoing and engaging with a desire to learn.
  • Have previous Host or food service experience (an asset, not required).
  • Be reliable and have good attention to detail.
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Be able to stand for extended periods.
