Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches & Salads. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare reports as required.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays and ensure that food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be expected to maintain a high level of attention to detail.
