Concrete Forms Carpenter

Brenta Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team. As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials for concrete formwork and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
- Move tools, equipment and other materials
- Bending, crouching, kneeling
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Physically demanding
- Manual dexterity
- Team player
- Health care plan
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities
- Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
