We are seeking a skilled Plumber - Pipefitting Specialist to join our team at Whistler Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems
  • Instruct apprentices and provide on-the-job training
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections and fixtures
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using various methods, including soldering, brazing, and welding
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Physical demands of the job include bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
