Salary: The base salary for this position ranges from $150,700/year up to $251,700/year. This compensation package also includes equity, sign-on payments, and other benefits.
Job Description: As a Sr. SDE, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying solutions for Alexa customers. You will collaborate closely with Alexa domains and many other teams and functions to influence our overall strategy and define the team's roadmap. Your key responsibilities will include building new services and experiences from ground up, being a technical leader, and having impactful tech design, architecture, and implementation of Alexa features.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 7+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 7+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
- 7+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
