Job Summary

Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Packer to join our team. As an Order Packer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that orders are prepared and shipped efficiently and accurately to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pack merchandise with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Apply invoices and shipping labels on merchandise
  • Collect and verify that all items and goods are included in the shipments
  • Prepare shipments and shipping orders for transport companies
  • Load, unload, sort, and move goods by hand or using a pallet
  • Verify documents correspond to goods at the verification station
  • Gather boxes of accessories from the warehouse store and ensure they are placed with the right orders
  • Attach and wrap products for shipping
Health and Safety

As an Order Packer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. This includes:

  • Complying with standards and business procedures
  • Enforcing health and safety laws
  • Keeping work areas and equipment clean and organized
Other Responsibilities

In addition to the key responsibilities and health and safety requirements, the Order Packer will also be responsible for:

  • Participating in the annual inventory
  • Completing various reports
Requirements

To be successful as an Order Packer, you will need:

  • High school diploma or vocational training
  • Minimum of one year experience in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of French and English
  • Ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures
  • Good physical endurance to regularly move goods weighing 60 lbs. or more
Preferred Qualifications

Forklift operator credentials and the ability to perform repetitive tasks are considered assets.
