Job Title: Supervisor of Construction Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Construction Projects to join our team at MV Castillo Painting Corporation.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of carpenters and overseeing the completion of various construction projects. This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 carpenters and ensure the successful completion of projects
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Estimate costs and materials, and prepare bids
  • Manage own company and ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • College/CEGEP education
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Reliability and dependability
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a noisy environment, with relocation costs covered by the employer.
