Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Specialist to join our team at Homewood Ravensview. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients, families, and healthcare staff on mental health topics.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to mental health services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) and Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II) certification.
  • Experience in psychiatric care and mental health services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
