Responsibilities:

* Maintain life safety systems, including fire alarms, emergency power, and sprinklers
* Perform active or preventative maintenance as directed
* Maintain parts and equipment inventories, anticipating requirements and submitting purchase order requests
* Communicate effectively with operational departments
* Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide exceptional guest service
* Build strong working relationships with guests and employees
* Comply with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements

Requirements:

* High School Diploma
* Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, including mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall repairs, painting, furniture repairs, and general facility repairs
* Hotel room maintenance experience is an asset
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel when required
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Serving It Right certificate required
