**Job Summary**
Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our team as an Activation Aide. This role is responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing, and implementation of meaningful programs for our residents.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the development and implementation of programs that promote socialization, engagement, and overall well-being of residents.
- Work collaboratively with the Program Manager and facility volunteers to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and staff of other departments.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of equipment and supplies in the department.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development and assessment of individual resident care plans.
**Requirements:**
- Community college recreation certificate or diploma, or equivalent.
- Experience working with seniors in a long-term care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills and a valid driver's license are assets.
