About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Specialist to join our team at Capital Honda. As a key member of our sales and service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our parts inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering telephone calls and relaying messages in a timely and professional manner
  • Setting up displays of retail parts and accessories to showcase our products in an attractive and organized way
  • Providing advice on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts to customers, based on your expertise and knowledge
  • Identifying, labeling, and cataloging items received, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our inventory management process
  • Maintaining records on our inventory control system, ensuring that our stock levels are up-to-date and accurate
  • Preparing and tracking work orders, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Preparing requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies, ensuring that our stock levels remain optimal
  • Processing incoming requisitions, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and complete
  • Receiving, unpacking, and sorting incoming parts, supplies, and materials, ensuring that they are properly stored and organized
  • Selling spare and replacement parts to customers, providing expert advice and guidance as needed
  • Shipping, delivering, or picking up parts, products, or equipment, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in good condition
Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of inventory control software and experience with its implementation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and external partners
  • A proven track record of meeting deadlines and achieving targets, with a focus on quality and attention to detail
  • A commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and technologies
