A Day in the Life:



  • The journeyman will diagnose and repair issues with commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment, striving to achieve first-time fixes on service calls.
  • They will interact directly with our valued customers and service dispatch team in a professional and courteous manner.


Responsibilities:



  • Services and diagnoses commercial refrigeration and HVAC issues in various applications.
  • Provides exceptional customer service with a focus on experience.
  • Installs HVAC equipment as required.
  • Orders and installs necessary parts and materials as needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of environmental and safety regulations.
  • Supports apprentices with troubleshooting and training.
  • Ensures accurate timing for estimates.


Requirements:



  • High school graduation is mandatory.
  • Possesses mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
  • Completed Red Seal Inter-Provincial exam or equivalent.
  • Refrigeration Electrical Endorsement (or attaining).
  • Ozone Depleting Substances certification.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract.
  • Previous experience in installations like split systems, RTUs, walk-in coolers, and remote refrigeration is considered an asset.

Estimated Salary Range: $48 to $51 per hour
