Job Description

This is a permanent role based in Berkshire / Slough with a salary of up to £42,000 per annum pro rata. The ideal candidate will have experience as a registered nurse or operating department practitioner.

Key Responsibilities:

The Theatre Practitioner will be responsible for providing patient centric care, participating in the entire pathways for all patients from pre-admission, surgery, and post-operative management.

  • Preoperative assessment and diagnostics testing will be undertaken by the Theatre Practitioner under AfPP good practice guidance.
  • Proficient use of PC software and systems is required for this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of patient centric care principles.
  • Experience in theatre scrub procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
