Kitchen Assistant Job Description

At 9482-6054 Quebec Inc, we are seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities.

Responsibilities:

* Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety standards.

* Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored.

* Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of in a responsible manner.

* Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.

* Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit for use in our kitchen.

Requirements:

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

* 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Ability to work in a bilingual environment (English or French).

* 32 to 40 hours per week.
