About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Apparatus Project Leader to join our Transmission and Distribution Lines team at BBA Consultants. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading electrical apparatus projects at Hydro-Québec, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical apparatus projects, including project planning, coordination, and execution
  • Design and develop high- and medium-voltage electrical substations, ensuring compliance with Hydro-Québec standards
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including lists of materials, bills of materials, and installation specifications
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project delivery
  • Participate in site surveys and ensure coordination with managers from other disciplines

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • More than five years of experience in electrical apparatus projects at Hydro-Québec
  • Very good knowledge of specialized software, including MPI, MCT, CPI, and Logesdes
  • Knowledge of Hydro-Québec standards (GT, SN, TET, etc.)
