Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering our meal kits to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and load Fresh Prep orders into vehicles
  • Deliver Fresh Prep orders in a delivery van in a safe and timely manner within set delivery times
  • Return collected cooler bags and undelivered orders to the warehouse
  • Safely operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to deliver various products
  • Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle; Operate vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all rules of the road; Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
  • Represent Fresh Prep's brand on shift; Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in written form
  • Confirm racks that have been order picked for drivers include all deliveries on their route
  • Use Fresh Prep's delivery software and accurately follow directions therein
  • Support drivers loading - ensuring idle time is kept to a minimum; Ensure only those drivers whose racks are confirmed and staged are entering the loading area
  • Pallet building according to shipping manifests
Requirements
  • You're organized and pay attention to detail.
  • You're comfortable driving a large delivery van, approximately 20 ft long and 9 ft high.
  • You have a positive, can-do attitude.
  • You have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • You're legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • You can pass a background check.
  • You're able to lift 30 lbs repeatedly.
  • You're able to work weekends and holidays.
