Key Responsibilities- Software Development: Develop and support Book Depot's in-house Warehouse Management System (WMS) and implement automation initiatives to improve business processes.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, log issues, and document fixes to ensure seamless system operation.
- Infrastructure Assessment: Assess infrastructure and platforms to evaluate the feasibility and usefulness of available tools and resources.
- User Support: Monitor user activities to detect problems and provide technical support to end-users.
- Reporting and Analysis: Develop and deliver operational reports and summaries of problems or technical difficulties to inform business decisions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming or Computer Science or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience with technologies currently used by Book Depot, including SQL programming, C#, MVC framework, Python, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a high-performing and fast-paced environment, and proven ability to stay organized with a heavy and diverse workload.
