About the Job

The Engagement Specialist plays a critical role in supporting OntarioMD's integration initiatives with EMR vendors and other external partners.

This specialist will work closely with internal teams to develop and implement strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with EMR vendors and other external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to build and maintain productive relationships with EMR vendors and other external partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and pursue opportunities for integration with EMR vendors.
  • Monitor and manage progress against agreed-upon targets and deadlines.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on integration progress and challenges.
  • Cultivate effective relationships with key stakeholders, including EMR vendors, OMD departments, and external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in relationship management, sales, or client-facing roles in the provincial health system.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and/or partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prepare and present business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to adapt to various audiences.
