Job Title: Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at A Plus Concrete Pumping Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete surfaces. This includes filling hollows, removing spots on freshly poured cement, and imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement
  • Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
  • Imparting desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
  • Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
  • Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dusty, noisy, and wet/damp environment. They will be required to work outdoors and will be physically demanding.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
