Papineau International is seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Driver to join our team. As a Heavy Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. This is a Permanent position that requires Bilingual skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
Documentation Knowledge
  • Driver logbook
  • Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
  • Maintenance and repair reports
  • Trans-border documentation
Communication Systems Experience
  • Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
  • Trip recorder (on-board computer)
Transportation/Travel Experience
  • International
Security and Safety
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
  • Medical exam
