Job Title: Territory Manager

Brandt is seeking a Territory Manager for our Halifax Construction & Forestry location. This role specializes in the sale of new and used material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell new and used material handling equipment within a designated area of responsibility.
  • Travel across the assigned area to effectively cover all current and prospect-account locations.
  • Grow our customer base by:
    • Increasing wallet spend with existing customers
    • Acquiring new customers
    • Identifying key strategic customers and executing a growth plan
    • Building relationships
  • Stay up-to-date on customers' business activities and needs.
  • Prepare and maintain customer status reports, including sales call activities and customer lists.
  • Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for the assigned area.
  • Stay current on product knowledge and industry models.
  • Complete sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage travel requirements and expenses.
Requirements:
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and goal-driven individual.
  • Proven ability to build and grow sales in a defined territory.
  • Familiarity with the material handling industry, having spent time working in or servicing it.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Valid driver's license and recent driver's abstract.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
