Waste Connections of Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our brand new facility in Hamilton, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing all major and minor truck systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet.

Competitive Hourly Rate & Incentives:

  • $43.78 per hour + Monthly Bonuses
  • Excellent Benefits (incl. Tool and Boot allowance) + RRSP Match
  • Monday to Friday, Afternoon shift (2PM- 11:30PM), Saturdays on call phone (rotation)

The ideal candidate will have a valid 310T Heavy Duty Mechanic license, proven experience as a Heavy-Duty Truck mechanic, and strong knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A commitment to safety is essential, as is the ability to pass all prescreening for employment, including a criminal record check and drug test.
