About the Role

Fountain Tire Edmonton City Center is a leading automotive repair shop dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and quality solutions. We're seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team at the Edmonton City Center location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles, including commercial fleet vehicles, to ensure the highest standards of service.
  • Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and certifications.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements

  • Registered Journeyman Automotive Service Technician preferred, apprentices will also be considered.
  • A valid driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract.
  • OOP and CVIP certifications or eligibility to obtain.
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical experience.
  • Excellent customer service and a great attitude.

Working Conditions

  • A team environment where hard work, concise communication, and clear heads are rewarded.
  • Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 25KG is required.
  • This work can be unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy, etc.
