About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco's core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the most respected in the industry. Our team of experts is dedicated to delivering exceptional client service, leveraging our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions to ensure a seamless experience.

Your Role:

  • As a Senior Fund Accounting Manager, you will be part of a professional team responsible for a range of complex hedge funds and clients, managing a team of accountants, and interacting with colleagues from other Citco offices.
  • Review daily and weekly profit and loss (P&L) and net asset value (NAV) estimates.
  • Review monthly and weekly NAV accounting work.
  • Assist staff with their work as needed.
  • Act as liaison with clients on matters related to the preparation of the monthly reporting package.
  • Act as liaison with auditors.
  • Prepare responses to clients on various issues and queries.
  • Review administrative and accounting procedures and recommend solutions to improve the NAV production process.
  • Monitor compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) with clients and other Citco offices.
  • Negotiate SLAs with clients and other Citco offices.
  • Assist with new fund setups, conversions, and migrations.
  • Support the conversion of new clients.
  • Ensure adherence to internal and external audit standards.
  • Ensure all control checklists are up-to-date and utilized.
  • Work with other managers to ensure efficient allocation of staff and workflow.
  • Keep senior management informed of material issues affecting deliverables.
  • Assist with implementing training initiatives.
  • Support other ad-hoc report requests and operations metrics as required by management.

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business, finance, or related discipline, or an accounting qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, with exposure to accounting experience in hedge funds, mutual funds, or investment companies.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Solid understanding of accounting entries and allocations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated financial reporting, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a changing, fast-paced work environment.
  • Possess product knowledge, including domestic, global, and OTC security markets, fixed income, and derivative products.
  • Strong customer relationship skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Exposure to systems implementations and workflow process initiatives.
  • Strong Excel experience.
