Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to fill the role of Director of Information Technology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the Engineering Society, ensuring that our systems and infrastructure are secure, reliable, and efficient. This involves managing our website, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity measures, as well as leading the IT Operations team and collaborating with the EngSoc Software Development team.

Responsibilities
1. Manage and maintain EngSoc's website and IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.
2. Oversee IT security, protecting the organization's digital assets from potential threats.
3. Lead the IT Operations team, providing guidance and support to team members as they deliver IT services to EngSoc groups and maintain EngSoc sites and the EngSoc shop.
4. Collaborate with the EngSoc Software Development (ESSDev) team, working together to complete independent software development projects.

Requirements
1. Prior experience with IT in an enterprise environment, either within or outside the Engineering Society, is highly valuable.
2. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in IT-related tools and technologies.
3. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
4. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
