Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fuel Oil Truck Driver to join our team at North 60 Petro LTD. As a Fuel Oil Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a fuel oil truck to transport goods and materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate a fuel oil truck to transport goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to company safety policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles), and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and strong problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: The work environment will be outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Physical Demands: The job requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
