Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Join Daytona Freight Systems Inc. as a Long Haul Truck Driver and embark on a rewarding career in transportation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations, working closely with a two-person team or convoy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of vehicle condition
  • Oversee condition of vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments and preventive maintenance
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Relay information to central dispatch and receive updates
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity license check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
  • Medical exam
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, traveling to various locations, and interacting with different people. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring the safe transportation of goods and materials.
