About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Shingler to join our team at STRASSER & LANG. As a key member of our roofing crew, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair roofing systems on sloped roofs of buildings, ensuring a watertight seal and meeting safety standards.
  • Install and replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
  • Repair and replace damaged or missing shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings, using hand tools and power equipment.
  • Inspect and test roofing systems to identify and address any defects or issues.
Requirements
  • Working at heights training and experience with roofing equipment and tools.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy loads, including roofing materials and equipment.
  • Excellent physical stamina and endurance, with the ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
