The Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at the Thompson Campus. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for all users of the campus. Your duties will include:

• Providing janitorial services, including dusting, sweeping, washing floors, and vacuuming">
• Cleaning classrooms, kitchens, and washrooms">
• Maintaining cleanliness of common areas and grounds">
• Collecting and disposing of refuse">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• ">
• Completion of Grade 10 Education or equivalent combination of education and experience">
• Experience cleaning, preferably in an industrial/building services and/or unionized setting">
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment">
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and follow through on tasks until completion">
• Initiative and ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with minimal supervision">
• Commitment to life-long learning">

Compensation

This position offers a competitive salary range of $40,404 to $48,397 per annum, plus remoteness allowance if applicable. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health benefits, pension plan, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
