The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Consultant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for licensing eligible early childhood day care centers and day home programs, promoting and supporting the development of quality early childhood programs, and supporting the government's mandate, goals, and priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Licensing eligible early childhood day care centers and day home programs
  • Promoting and supporting the development of quality early childhood programs
  • Supporting the government's mandate, goals, and priorities

Requirements:

  • Diploma in early childhood education
  • Two years of related work experience, including teaching in or supervising a licensed early learning and child care program

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of $44.83-$53.55 per hour
  • Annual Northern Allowance of $3,700
