Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Houseperson to join our team at New Castle Hotels & Resorts. As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of public areas, including elevators, guestroom landings, and vending areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Focus on Details - Ensure public areas are clean and tidy, reporting any missing or damaged items to management.
  • Be Organized - Maintain assigned areas, ensuring they are stocked, clean, and crisp.
  • Be a Team Player - Assist coworkers with heavy lifting and other tasks as needed.
  • Be a Housekeeping Ambassador - Provide warm greetings and smiles to guests, promoting a positive hotel experience.
  • Be a Safety & Security Agent - Follow hotel safety and security policies, anticipating and reporting any potential issues.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need basic English communication skills and prior housekeeping experience. You must be able to safely operate equipment and chemicals, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally. Heavy work is required, with the ability to stand for long hours and work in variable temperatures and noise levels.
