**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Diagnostic Imaging Clerk II to join our team at Michael Garron Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our diagnostic imaging services.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and reports, including DI orders and patient information;
  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner;
  • Performing various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and answering phone calls;
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of patient care;
  • Staying current with policies, procedures, and best practices in diagnostic imaging and healthcare administration.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in office administration, medical office administration, or a related field;
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience working in a Diagnostic Imaging department or similar healthcare setting;
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and principles of patient care;
  • Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems;
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
