Job Title: Letter Carrier

Job Summary:

Canada Post is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Letter Carrier to join our team. As a Letter Carrier, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Sort and process mail and packages at the post office
  • Operate a postal vehicle to transport mail and packages
  • Interact with customers to resolve any issues or concerns

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day
  • Ability to work in all types of weather
  • Availability to be on-call, possibly evenings and weekends
