Job Summary
Ainsworth is seeking a skilled Chiller Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and maintaining chillers, as well as installing equipment and components.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair chillers and related equipment, with a thorough understanding of product operations.
- Install and maintain equipment and components, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the overhaul and servicing of chillers, ensuring safe and healthful working conditions.
- Perform maintenance and repair on all chiller manufacturers, adhering to quality system operating procedures.
- Contribute to the ongoing training and mentoring of indentured apprentices.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as government legislation and regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Red Seal Refrigeration/HVAC Mechanic.
- Minimum 5 years commercial experience on Centrifugal Chillers.
- Danfoss compressor repair/maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of the practices, methods, tools, materials, and equipment of the HVAC Refrigeration trade.
- A current and valid Alberta driver's license.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
