About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Systems Engineer to join our team at MTLs Aerostructure. As a key member of our design and development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing aerospace vehicles, systems, and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop aerospace vehicles, systems, and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Utilize CATIA and other computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed designs and models.
  • Aircraft Experience: Develop expertise in airships and other aircraft systems, including propulsion, aerodynamics, and control systems.
  • Equipment, Systems, and Controls Experience: Design and develop electric motors, generators, drives, and motor controls, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage projects from design to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Repair Design Approval: Develop and implement repair design approval processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in aerospace systems engineering, design, and development.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Language: Bilingual, with proficiency in English and French.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
