Job Description

The Software Delivery Engineer - Electronics will play a critical role in supporting the development of our electronics software products. This includes administering hardware systems and software tools, accomplishing development objectives, and overseeing software releases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or a related field, with experience in source code version tools and automated continuous integration software. They will also possess excellent organization and attention to detail, as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing all DevOps activities, including implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and verification of product builds and packaging.
  • Working closely with development to adjust builds and packaging to changing product requirements.
  • Understanding and employing best practices, monitoring and reporting on compliance.
  • Anticipating future needs and technology evolution and proposing new solutions.
  • Assisting with provisioning, testing, and maintenance of hardware and software.

This role requires a collaborative mindset and the ability to work with a geographically distributed team. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate thorough knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 years' experience in software development or a related field.
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Jenkins, Git.
  • Knowledge of Python, Perl, or other scripting languages.
  • System administration, hardware configuration, IT, and Cloud experience.
