NDT Technician Job Description

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for conducting NDT system set-ups and calibration in the field, as well as collecting and analyzing data using various instrumentations and techniques. You will also assist in NDT field service marketing and be involved in using new equipment. Additionally, you will work on problems and gain experience in the office and on project sites, collaborate with diverse teams locally and globally, and benefit from formal and informal mentorship from leading minds in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct NDT system set-ups and calibration in the field
  • Collect and analyze NDT data using various instrumentations and techniques
  • Assist in NDT field service marketing
  • Use new equipment and technology
  • Work on problems and gain experience in the office and on project sites
  • Collaborate with diverse teams locally and globally
  • Benefit from formal and informal mentorship
Requirements:
  • College Diploma or Degree in Non-Destructive Testing or relevant field
  • Knowledge of ultrasonic, stress wave, and electromagnetic wave propagation techniques and instrumentations
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of various NDT techniques and instrumentation
  • Knowledge of coarse-grained NDT techniques is an asset
  • Ability to carry out site inspections, data analysis, signal processing, and report finalization
  • Ability to interact with other people and work in a team environment
