Purchasing Agent Job Description

At Watson Enterprises Inc., we are seeking a skilled Purchasing Agent to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase equipment, materials, and supplies to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Develop specifications for purchases and assess requirements to ensure the best value for our company.
  • Consult with suppliers to negotiate contracts and review quotations.
  • Establish delivery schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
