Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at CANADA INC.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and providing financial support to our team.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Process transactions, including invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
  • Provide financial support to the team, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Or equivalent experience.
  • Parking available.
  • Support for newcomers and refugees.
  • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Support for youths.
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Indigenous people.
  • Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Supports for visible minorities.
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
