Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Humberview Volkswagen. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Qualify vehicles for warranty coverage and perform warranty repairs as needed.
  • Examine vehicles to identify potential safety or service issues and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Conduct road tests to ensure vehicles are safe and meet manufacturer standards.

Requirements

  • Valid Automotive Service Technician (310S) Certification.
  • Experience working in a technician position, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong aptitude for technical and mechanical repairs, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Valid Driver's License (Class G) with a clean driving record.
  • Able to work well in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
