Demolition Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Demolition Specialist to join our team at Ottawa Demolition and Disposal Inc.
About the Job:This is a permanent position with variable hours, ranging from 60 to 85 hours bi-weekly. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and less than 7 months of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
Work Environment:The successful candidate will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and working under pressure. They will be required to work in confined spaces, noisy areas, dusty conditions, and hot temperatures. Public transportation is available, but owning a vehicle is recommended.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in demolishing buildings using safe and efficient methods
- Clean and pile salvaged materials for recycling or reuse
- Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, following all safety protocols
- Excellent physical fitness and endurance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
- Availability for shift or on-call work
- Mileage paid

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000, based on the location and industry standards.
