As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of maintenance staff and contractors to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to maintenance staff and contractors to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Maintenance Planning and Scheduling: Work with the planning and scheduling department to ensure that maintenance activities are properly planned and scheduled to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Facility Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve facility efficiency and recommend cost-saving initiatives to management.
  • Team Performance and Development: Participate in team performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including management, maintenance staff, contractors, and customers, to ensure that maintenance activities are properly coordinated and executed.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Journeyperson certification with 5+ years of experience in pipefitting, mechanics, or millwrighting.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of MS Office and other business-related computer programs and applications, as well as experience with SAP Maintenance Management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment and materials as required.
