Embedded Systems Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at BRP. This role will play a key part in the implementation and maintenance of our cybersecurity management system (CSMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO/SAE and UN R.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in communication and collaborative work, proven experience in vehicle cybersecurity, and be effective in a rapidly evolving lean environment. Interest in motor sports is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies for the electrical and electronic (E/E) systems of our motor vehicles.
  • Manage cybersecurity risks throughout the product lifecycle, from design to decommissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with the latest international cybersecurity standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity practices into all phases of product development.
  • Work on a diverse range of power sports vehicles by integrating and validating our cybersecurity solutions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in computer engineering, cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Creating synergy between technical security standards (ISO /UN R, Cyber Resilience Act) and relevant procedures for the development of our products.
  • Proven experience in implementing a CSMS Cybersecurity management system ideally at OEM level.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO/SAE and UN R.
  • Comfortable guiding multidisciplinary teams in the execution of cybersecurity strategies from the concept phase through the end of the coverage period and decommissioning.
  • Able to communicate in English with overseas partners and French for internal collaboration.
