At ROUTE KING TRANSPORT LTD., we are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, ensuring all work is done to the highest standards.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work to prevent equipment downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed, working collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, as well as truck-trailer systems, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
  • English language proficiency.
