Pharmacist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at JeanCoutu095. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise customers on the selection and use of non-prescription medication, providing personalized guidance and support.
  • Check prescriptions for proper dosage and accuracy, ensuring the safe administration of medications.
  • Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring, and mixing the right quantities of drugs and other ingredients.
  • Maintain medication profiles of customers, including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs.
  • Manage the storage, packaging, and distribution of medicinal products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada Certification and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a commitment to patient-centered care.
