Job Title: Sushi Master

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Master to join our team at Oshi Nori. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes for our customers.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Japanese cuisine and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes. You will work closely with our head chef to develop new menu items and ensure that all dishes meet our high standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook sushi dishes to order, using fresh and high-quality ingredients.
  • Develop and implement new menu items, working closely with the head chef to ensure that they meet our quality standards.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a sushi restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
