CS Group Canada, a leading provider of safety-critical systems, is seeking a highly skilled Team Lead Verification Engineer to join their dynamic and multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in verification and validation of embedded software, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a DO178B or DO178C environment.
Responsibilities:- Ensure technical quality of deliverables, reviewing and validating the team's output.
- Define work packages and manage suppliers when activities are outsourced.
- Develop and implement software verification processes.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts, focusing on quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Instill a positive work ethic in the team.
- Communicate and coordinate with clients on technical subjects.
- Provide weekly status updates and workload assessments to the Project Manager.
- Identify and provide team training.
- Contribute to the development of the company through involvement in technical and commercial proposals.
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Verification & Validation of Embedded Software.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a team lead.
- Knowledge of software tools such as SCADE, Matlab/Simulink, C, C++, Microsoft Office, DOORS, SVN, and Mantis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Curiosity, autonomy, pro-activity, and ability to find solutions.
- Ability to isolate and troubleshoot hardware, system, and software problems.
- Fast learner and able to adapt easily to new systems.
- Team player with great attention to detail.
