Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient room cleaning and maintenance
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and departmental policies
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and service
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and equipment
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency
  • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are met and maintained
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field an asset
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
