About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Service Technician to join our team at Vision Investment Group. As an Electronic Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing electronic equipment, installing new equipment, and ensuring that all technical tasks are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Repair Electronic Equipment: Inspect products to determine the requirements for repair, and repair electronic equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
  • Install Electronic Equipment: Install new electronic equipment, ensuring that it is properly configured and functioning as expected.
  • Test and Maintain Equipment: Test and maintain electronic equipment and assemblies to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Diagnose and Troubleshoot: Diagnose and troubleshoot circuit, component, and equipment faults to identify the root cause of the issue.
  • Adjust and Align Equipment: Adjust, align, replace, or repair electronic equipment and assemblies to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Complete Work Orders and Reports: Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports to ensure that all technical tasks are properly documented.
  • Supervise and Train: Supervise and train other electronic equipment service technicians to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field, such as electronics or computer science.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, such as electronics or computer science.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high levels of pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, organized, reliable, flexible, and a team player.
